The voice of experience.

Four priorities for Ward 5, and for a city that works.

Experience tells me which fights are worth picking.

Here are mine for the next four years.

Responsible Management and a Tax Bill You Can Plan Around

Burlington needs budgets that are transparent, easy to follow, and honest about long‑term costs.

Comparisons that make sense.

Comparisons that make sense. I will continue to push for clear comparisons with neighbouring municipalities so residents can see how Burlington is performing and where money is going.

Results you can measure.
Protecting what we've built.

Public KPIs, better reporting, and disciplined operations help residents see what their taxes deliver and where services can improve.

Transit systems that serve everyone.

Protecting what we’ve built. Looking after roads, pipes, trees, and core services before they fail keeps costs lower and the city running well.

Support a transit system that gets residents from where they are to where they need to go and back, at a lower cost, including on-demand shuttle options similar to systems used in neighbouring municipalities.

Growth That Fits Burlington

Burlington is going to grow, so are municipalities around us. The question is how, where, and at what cost to existing neighbourhoods. I’ll keep advocating for housing where it makes sense, while ensuring development meets real needs, respects neighbourhood character, and is reviewed transparently.

I will fight to reduce traffic congestion and keep highway cut-through traffic out of neighbourhoods.

My focus remains on responsible growth, infrastructure accountability, and making sure developers are held responsible for what they build.

Growth that brings amenities.

When development happens, it should come with community benefits: parks, services, and infrastructure that match the added people.

Protecting the neighbourhood character.

We can meet real housing needs while respecting existing streets, trees, and the feel of Ward 5 neighbourhoods.

Housing, Seniors and a Halton That Works

Better coordination between housing, transit, healthcare, and community services makes the system easier to navigate for families and seniors.

More homes people afford

Increase the Halton Community Housing portfolio, affordable rentals, and supportive housing options.

Aging in the right place

Bring PACE‑style options and community wellness hubs to Burlington so older adults can live happy, healthy, safe lives at home where possible.

Services that work together

Better coordination between housing, transit, healthcare, and community services makes the system easier to navigate for families and seniors.

A Ward 5 That Feels Looked After

Resurfacing, sidewalk links, school‑zone safety, traffic calming, and day‑to‑day maintenance shape how people move through the ward.

Streets, sidewalks and traffic.

Resurfacing, sidewalk links, school‑zone safety, traffic calming, and day‑to‑day maintenance shape how people move through the ward.

Parks, trees and the lakeshore.

Ward 5’s parks, tree canopy, and lake access are part of why people live here; I will keep pushing for renewal, maintenance, and tree replacement.

Follow through on local issues.

From service requests to problem spots, Ward 5 deserves consistent follow‑up so residents feel their concerns are heard and acted on.

Community spaces that work.

Burloak Park, Sherwood Forest Park, DesJardines Park, Orchard Park, splash pads, community centres, arenas, and other local amenities all need steady attention so they continue to serve residents well.
